An Exceptional Retirement Community in Washington
Living Care Retirement Community is a non-profit 61+ retirement community in Yakima, WA. Conveniently located, our 10 ½ acre campus is a bright spot in our community. Since our incorporation in 1958, Living Care has continued to grow and evolve with our community in order to accomplish our vision: to be the provider of choice for aging services in Central Washington.
Retirement Living at its Finest
At Living Care Retirement Community, we provide more than just a place to live. Our dedicated staff will take care of the little things like dinner, maintenance and housework, allowing you more time to enjoy life with family and friends. Our Village Center is a hub for activities on our campus. Within the Village Center you can meet friends at the Village Café, join an exercise class in the Fitness Center, featuring a spa and therapy pool, or enjoy one of many special events hosted in our Meyer Auditorium. Living Care also supports our community arts programs and businesses by providing opportunities to attend theatre or musical performances and to visit other local businesses.
Continuing Care
As the only continuing care retirement community in Yakima, WA, our team is ready to support you if and when your needs change over time. Living Care residents can transition from independent living into our assisted living or skilled nursing options while remaining on our campus and an active part of the community that they’ve come to love.
The Non-Profit Difference
As long-term care continues to be scrutinized closely, not-for-profit providers repeatedly demonstrate a difference when it comes to quality. For us, the bottom line is delivering the best and most compassionate care and services rather than focusing on financial gain. While every organization must cover costs in order to continue operating, in not-for-profit communities, all surplus income benefits the residents. We re-invest in the community or expanded services. Not-for-profits fulfill their mission to serve by raising the standards in quality, innovation and caring for the entire senior services continuum.
