Providence St. Joseph’s Hospital
A home-town hospital
Providence St. Joseph’s Hospital was founded by the Dominican Sisters in 1929 to meet the health care needs of the small community of Chewelah and surrounding communities in Stevens County. Nearly a century later, the hospital continues to serve the needs of our friends and neighbors. From 24-hour emergency care, to acute care/skilled care services, to 40 long term care beds, the team at Providence St. Joseph’s Hospital provides the convenience of a home-town hospital.
